Well, I didn't win the Aurora Award -- that went to my good friend Robert J. Sawyer so I'm not exactly broken hearted.
Now that I'm home i have lots of work to do. First up is to finish the edits of my novel, Defining Diana, which will be appearing next spring from Bundoran Press. http://www.bundoranpress.com/
Then, it's about time I got all my rejected and new stories back in the mail. Two are still in the final selection process (so I am told) with leading Canadian SF mags. But I have five to send out again. and after that I need to get on with the re-writes of "Lumen Aerie" -- the third of my Willie Lumen stories. This weekend is starting to look pretty full.
And did I mention the six stories in various stages of completion. Sometimes I wish I could just say: Oy Veh!
